The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is located in Muscat, the capital of Oman. The works for its construction began in 1995 and ended about 6 years later. Today it is the most important mosque in the country and a true architectural gem. Inside it houses one of the largest lamps in the world (some say it is the largest) and the largest carpet on the planet.
Here are some images of this editorial architecture photography project, made in 2019.
